After long hours of work when you have set a schedule to take a long break and will not be operating your system, you may turn it off. Also, when you are going on bio breaks don’t forget to lock our system. You can save your laptop’s battery if the brightness is low and also if you set it to shut backlight after 5 minutes of idle time.

So, when you are not present at your workplace for a long time; you can turn all lights off. It will save on your electricity bill. Since decades, we have been struggling to make our planet paper free. Though it is tough, but not impossible. It can be difficult for a common man, not for us. You can take prints only when it is too important. Also, do not ignore the back side of the paper.

Luminous lights consume more electricity than the fluorescent lamps, also they die fast.  The other ones may cost you more, but will save you the cost of 2 bulbs plus some on electricity.

It is a program commenced by the US to boost energy saving products. As you do a thorough research on the pricing before buying anything, please do a research on energy saving gadgets also. I am sure you will find many such certified energy saving products.
